About Garanta Asigurari

GARANTA ASIGURARI was established in October 1997, upon the initiative of important financial and banking institutions to invest in the Romanian insurance market, having as main shareholder The Hellenic General Insurance Company ETHNIKI.

GARANTA ASIGURARI is one of the active members of the National Association of the Insurance and Reinsurance Companies in Romania (U.N.S.A.R.), of the Romanian Pension Funds’ Association (A.P.A.P.R.) and of the Romanian Leasing Association (A.S.L.R.), within which it committed to participate in developing the specific market and to improve the conditions which may have a positive impact on these activities for the benefit of the entire Romanian society.

GARANTA ASIGURARI is authorised to issue insurance policies against disasters (PAD) in the name of the Natural Disaster Insurance Pool.

We also represent 100 external partners through the management of Green Card files, authorised by the Romanian Insurers’ Bureau (BAAR).
